Nothing’s wrong with the above screencapture of MBC Let Me Sleep Over Tonight (which featured FT Island on its 10 April 2009’s broadcast), apart from a flower boy tucking into his Gejang (= marinated crab in soy sauce).
But a closer look at his drinking mug shows a cute mug with his name on it, and a character print on the other side of the mug.
We can’t really see what character it is exactly, as the camera doesn’t really focus on it (d-oh, of course it will focus on the boys).
So, let me show you how it REALLY looks like….

Sadly, only Seunghyun doesn’t have one……

So, what’s the story here?
Apparently, the mugs were a gift from an overseas fan, Jadelzy (she’s from Singapore).She customized each mug for each member (with adorable South-Park characters), complete with their names, and sent them over to F&C as a fan-gift.
But the shipping wasn’t a very smooth experience….When she sent over the mugs the first time, it was December 2008, and F&C was in the midst of moving their office. Therefore, the mugs got sent back from Seoul because of bad address.Jadelzy didn’t give up and re-sent the mugs to the company’s new address. The mugs didn’t get returned this time…. but she’s not sure whether the boys received them…..
Well, until last week, that is….(When the boys showed them off (together with their other fan gifts) in MBC Let Me Sleep Over Tonight’s visit to their dorm)

But no worries, Hyunnie….Jadelzy noona is going to send you your own mug ^____^
